A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. – Colin Powell
We are told that our thoughts become our reality.
Or do they?
If I think that I am a millionaire with a mansion, 6 beautiful girlfriends, and the latest Tesla is that then going to become my reality? Well if I am being realistic, probably not.
What about public speaking. I really think that I am terrible at speaking in front of a group of people. If I think that, will that be the case when I need to actually do it? Probably so.
How do our thoughts impact on the life we lead?
Does a negative person attract negative things into their lives? And on the other side of the coin does a positive person attract good things?
What effect does positive thinking have on your life?
Much of what we do and experience in our lives is driven by our inner thoughts. By thinking of success and positive things you can help to steer your life in a better direction than by thinking negatively.
Creating your reality with your thoughts
Write things down. A university study of 247 participents showed that the simple act of writing goals down made them 42% more likely to be achieved.
Why wouldn’t you write them down then? Such a simple easy thing to do.
Proof you create your reality
You don’t need to look very far to see that you create your own reality. What do you do for a job? Who are you with in your life?
These are all things that you have chosen, unless of course you are in a religion that makes you marry someone your parents chose instead of you. Even then though, you chose to go with that. Nobody held a gun to your head.
You are the only one who can create your reality
Unless you are a little kid, or living in a country that controls your life, it is up to you to do this.
People need to stop blaming everyone else for their situations and take charge of their own lives.
Accept responsibility. Own it.
How to create your own reality distortion field
The idea of a reality distortion field was created by the late Steve Jobs. He had an uncanny ability to convince the team around him that what seemed to be impossible, was possible.
He used the power of the metaphor to do this.
You can do this yourself as well. Use metaphors to change not only your reality, but that of the people around you.
Meditation to create your reality
The great Einstein once said “People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
To help you look at the world in a different way and improve your life, meditation can really help.
Believe in the unbelievable. Create the amazing life you dreamed of.
Lastly..remember to write it down.
